Update: 26th July
Merchants Cove website testing is now in full swing as our troublesome roadblock has now been resolved. The remaining tasks for the Final Frontier Merchants Cove project include a) Importing your orders into our order processing system so that as you complete the order they can be seamlessly shipped to you, b) Creating all the additional Final Frontier products that we have available here at a discount, c) Sorting out shipping rates and d) Anything else we’ve missed. The person who will do the integration into our order processing system is unfortunately off to GenCon and we are now expecting this part of the remaining work to be completed by the 8th August 2025. Note that we may start allowing you to place your orders before this date but no orders would be shipped before the 11th August 2025 and then we may have somewhat of a backlog so it may take a few days before your order is processed.
This project will go live for some of you before Merchant’s Cove – there’s a little more to do and test for this project as it’s worldwide whereas Merchant’s Cove is UK only and we will be taking care to get optimal shipping rates for anywhere outside the UK and EU for backers of the Royal Edition which at just over 2kg has less options.
We have all of the Kickstarter Backers, though some will inevitably have changed email addresses over the years but we have very limited GameFound data. Initally we have concluded we will be unable to offer additional copies. Because of the time that’s passed we’ll be giving this project longer before we offer extra copies. When the backer data we have is imported we will send backers emails and update all of the platforms we are able to as we’re well aware we’ll need to inform people widely and give them time.
